Enable the Unable (ETU-CBO) is a non-profit Community Based Organization that deploys a Human- Centered -Design Approach to Support the Resilience of livelihoods of people with disabilities, Children and their Mothers- by fostering Practical Skills Development, Healthcare promotion, Human Rights and Enterprise for Social Inclusion.

Our vision statement:

To develop the self-determination of a large group of disenfranchised self-employed people with disabilities, women and youth engaged in Income Generating Activities in Sheema Municipality- Sheema District Division by way of a viable enterprise that contributes to a higher standard of living for themselves and their families.

Our mission statement:

To increase economic opportunities and income of self-employed people with disabilities, women and youth-including children as the next entrepreneur generation in Sheema Municipality through the creation of a financially viable social enterprise that provides them with seed finance, commercialization services and market linkages so they can produce and supply high-quality products to their customers.

Our Funding Model

We stretch every currency to advance proper and responsible use of resources and minimize harm to the environment. We prioritize improving beneficiary outcomes over profit margins; we provide our beneficiaries with the breadth of tools and the depth of knowledge needed to solve their most critical needs. We view each of our clients as partners and continually invest time in understanding the Community and environment they thrive in, processes and expectations. This helps our engagements be appropriately customized, which in turn leads to best possible outcomes.
